Yay! My first blog after quite a while now.. But I’m back! I’ll be blogging more now so if there are any subjects you’re interested in please let me know. For now a blog about the mini photoshoot.
The past few months I’ve been using our beautiful garden as the location for mini photoshoots. Don’t know why I didn’t think of this option before! I live in Kwadendamme, a lovely little village in Zeeland, with my dear husband, sweet little boy and kat. Zeeland is a wonderful place to live as a Dutch photographer because we’re surrounded by nature. Plenty of spots to make photos! When I was brainstorming locations for mini sessions earlier this year I realised that our own garden would be perfect. Especially for the small shoots like portraits, pregnancy, love and small families.
As the mini fotoshoot only takes 20 minutes it’s perfect for kids! Also they have plenty of space to run around safely and we have everything we need near.
Interested in a mini photoshoot? You can book this session for another couple of months. The session is 20 minutes, in Kwadendamme, costs: €85,- and you receive 10 digital photos via an online gallery.

Wauw, I can’t believe how fast this year has passed. Just a couple of days until the new year and that’s why I’d like to share a little recap with you. In 2018 I travelled abroad for three photoshoots: in Tanzania, Italy and Portugal. I’m extremely grateful to have been able to make these trips and very happy with the results! The shoot I did in Italy, with a fantastic team, got published on a English and Dutch blog and in a Dutch magazine. Amazing! Also I got to shoot wonderful weddings. So lucky to be able to witness so much love and capture this for these lovely couples. Continue reading
This lovely couple is getting married in the Netherlands but work and live in Portugal. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding but was probably just as excited to travel to Portugal for their engagement session. I spent a couple of days there, the first to search for the perfect location.. On the second day the engagement session during sunset and the third day a session with their super cute dog. It was so beautiful and I really enjoyed this couples company, they are such lovely people and so much fun! Really looking forward to capturing their amazing day. Continue reading
At the beginning of this year Jesse & I travelled to Mwanza, Tanzania. Not one of the well known cities in Tanzania, most people have heard of the city Dar Es Salaam and/or the beautiful island Zanzibar. So why go to Mwanza? Continue reading
Zeeland, a province in The Netherlands, is a beautiful place to get married. It’s very peaceful, green and Zeeland had some of the best beaches in the Netherlands. These days you don’t have to get married in city hall any more, in most places it is possible to get married outdoors where you can style the location in any way you wish. Continue reading
This past year has been amazing! Definitely some ups and downs but I like to focus on the positives. Almost two years ago I started this adventure, officially starting my own business and working as a photographer. Honestly, I couldn’t be happier with my decision because it’s wonderful to meet such lovely couples and families and capture their stories. So, when Zankyou weddings published an article about the best wedding photographers in Zeeland (the Netherlands) I was extremely happy and honoured to be one of those photographers! Continue reading
The new Fletcher Hotel – Restaurant Het Veerse Meer in Arnemuiden officially opened its doors this past Saturday. The hotel has beautiful rooms, you can also have a lovely meal and/or drink and enjoy the amazing view over the Veerse Meer. It is truly a wonderful venue to organise a wedding.
When I’m photographing I am always looking to capture beauty, elegance and emotions. Looking at the big picture and at the details. I love natural light and flowy movements. This photoshoot reflects these aspects. Continue reading
